1.Screw 의 개요

Screw란 screw 머리를 돌릴 때 회전하는 힘이 직선운동으로 바꿔 전진하면서 screw head가 bone이나 plate를 압박하거나 plate 에 고정되는 것을 의미한다.

왼쪽) cortical screw 는 screw head가 bone이나 plate에 compression 

오른쪽) locking screw 는 screw head가 plate에 고정 (locked)

1)Metal의 종류 : stainless steel, titanium

2)Head의 모양 : conventional screw, locking head screw

3)Tip의 모양 : standard blunt, self-tapping sharp

4)사용부위 : cortex screw, cancellous screw

5)screw thread : Locking head screw, cortical screw, cancellous screw 

 

 

 

 

 

4.Screw 종류 

*drill bit는 screw core diameter보다 약간 크거나 작다.

*tap은 screw의 outer diameter와 동일한 크기이다.
